The complex issues surrounding homosexuality have the potential to divide communities and families, leaving church members feeling estranged from one another and the gospel. Evergreen is the faithful Latter-day Saint response to that sense of separation. We are a practical and spiritual means to diminish fear, isolation, confusion, resentment, and even anger, and to remedy misguided compassion … all of which tend to surround this challenge.

Where Church doctrines and standards must say “no” to what is contrary to scriptural and eternal law, through Evergreen we also say “yes” to our brothers and sisters who struggle with same-sex attraction (SGA). Evergreen understands that church members must support both the clear teachings and also, as a matter of justice and covenant, the means to be faithful.

Founded and directed by loyal Latter-day Saints who have personally experienced unwanted attractions in their own lives, we provide information, workshops, referrals, training conferences, mentoring, and growth courses to assist both individuals and families. For twenty years these programs and our many dedicated volunteers have made a real difference in the lives of members by restoring hope and providing assistance, but much more needs to be done. We need your help.

We invite you to become a partner with us in this eternal work. An annual donation of $50 or more makes you an Evergreen Partner with all member benefits and a champion of the SSA/SGA voice of faithful Latter-day Saints.
